At ARMI, we are proud to celebrate the incredible work of Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) at the 43rd Annual Greater New England Gala. This event honors Stefany Shaheen and her family, who have been tireless advocates for advancing type 1 diabetes (T1D) research since Stefany’s daughter, Elle, was diagnosed at just eight years old.
For decades, Breakthrough T1D has been at the forefront of funding and driving scientific breakthroughs—bringing us closer to a world where curative cell therapies are a reality. Their leadership in supporting transformative research, including work to scale the manufacture of insulin-producing beta cells, is paving the way for the next generation of T1D treatments.
ARMI is privileged to collaborate with Breakthrough T1D and its partners as they continue to accelerate these advancements. Their commitment to improving the lives of those impacted by T1D is truly inspiring, and we are honored to recognize their impact at this year’s Gala.
